The Ukrainian men’s national volleyball team continues to delight fans with big victories and historic achievements.
In the opening match of the third week of the 2025 Nations League, Raúl Lozano’s team earned a crucial victory over the Netherlands – 3:2.
This emotional five-set thriller not only added more points to Ukraine’s tally but also officially guaranteed the national team a place in the Nations League next season – 2026!
This means that the "blue-and-yellow" will not drop out of the tournament participants regardless of the results of the remaining three matches.
It is worth noting that this year marks our team’s debut season in the Nations League, and with each match, they are showing character, a hunger for victory, and a high level of play on the world stage.
As of July 16, 19:30, Ukraine sits in sixth place in the standings with 6 wins in 9 matches and a total of 17 points.
Ahead lie three more tough matches in Slovenia: against the current world champions Italy (July 17, 17:30), Serbia (July 18, 17:30), and Canada (July 20, 14:00).
But even now, we can confidently say: Ukraine is among the elite of world volleyball and will stay there for at least another year!
