Ukraine loses to Serbia in the 2025 Nations League

 11:07, Jul 18 2025

On Friday, July 18, the Ukrainian men’s national volleyball team played its eleventh match in the 2025 Nations League.

In the third competition week, the "blue-and-yellows" faced the Serbian national team in Ljubljana (Slovenia) at the Stožice Arena. However, the Ukrainians failed to put up a fight against one of this year’s outsiders of the tournament — a defeat with a "dry" score of 0:3.

The Serbians demonstrated a high quality of play from the very first minutes, were strong at the net, and confidently finished their attacks. The Ukrainian team tried to keep up in the first set, losing by only three points — 22:25. However, in the following sets, the Balkan team only increased their advantage, taking advantage of Ukrainian errors on serve and reception.
