Ukraine lost to Italy and ended its run at the 2025 World Championship
The Ukrainian men’s national volleyball team ended its 2025 World Championship campaign already at the group stage.

In the decisive match for a playoff spot, Raúl Lozano’s team could not overcome the reigning world champions Italy and lost 0:3.
In the first set, the “blue-and-yellows” stayed close for a long time, but in the end Italy’s experience prevailed – 21:25. In the second set, Ukraine even took the lead (12:10, 15:13),but could not maintain it – 22:25. The third set was fully controlled by the Italians, who quickly pulled away and closed the match – 18:25.

Group F – Final Standings
Ukraine finished third, with one victory (over Algeria) and two straight-set losses (to Belgium and Italy). Italy and Belgium advanced from Group F to the playoffs, while Ukraine ended its participation in the tournament.
