The Slovenian men’s volleyball team defeated France – last year’s champions – 3:1 in the quarterfinals of the Nations League in Ningbo, China.
France led in attack (56:38) and service aces (7:2) but fell short in blocking (4:10) and committed far more errors (40:17).

Slovenia has now reached the semifinals of the Nations League for the third time in history (2021, 2024, 2025) but finished fourth in both previous appearances. France won two of the last three editions (2022, 2024).
On August 2, Fabio Soli’s team will face Italy in the semifinals (start time: 10:00 Kyiv time). In the other semifinal, Brazil will meet Poland (14:00).
