The Ukrainian men's volleyball team began the second game week of the 2025 Nations League with a defeat.
In the first match in Burgas, Bulgaria, the "blue and yellow" faced one of the main favorites of the tournament - the French national team, the current winner of the Nations League and the Olympic champion of Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024.
The match ended with a victory for the French with a score of 3:0. The Ukrainians tried to put up a decent fight, especially in the first two games, but the experience and stability of the French team allowed them to control the course of the game.

This is Ukraine's third defeat in the tournament after the first game week, in which the team sensationally defeated the USA and Cuba, but lost to Brazil and Iran. The national team has three more matches ahead in Burgas: against Turkey (June 26),Japan (June 27) and the hosts of the tour — Bulgaria (June 29).
