MVP and All-Star Team of the 2025 Nations League Announced

The organizers of the Nations League have announced the tournament’s all-star team and the most valuable player.

Half of the individual awards went to players of the Polish national team. In the “Final Eight,” they won three matches with the same 3:0 score, and in the decisive game, they defeated Italy. The top scorer of the final was Wilfredo León. He was included in the tournament’s all-star team, along with the best scorer of the “Final Eight” from Poland – Kevin Sasak.

All volleyball players in the tournament’s all-star team received $10,000 each. In addition, Poland’s middle blocker Jakub Kochanowski will receive $30,000 as the MVP of the “Final Eight.” The 28-year-old player scored 24 points in three matches with a 74% attack success rate (14 out of 19). He also had seven blocks and three aces.

Previous tournament MVPs: opposite Maxim Mikhaylov (2018, Russia),outside hitter Matthew Anderson (2019, USA),opposite Wallace (2021, Brazil),opposite Bartosz Kurek (2021, Poland),outside hitter Earvin Ngapeth (2022, France),libero Paweł Zatorski (2023, Poland),and setter Antoine Brizard (2024, France). Thus, for the first time in Nations League history, the MVP title went to a middle blocker.
