The Brazilian national team won the bronze medals in the 2025 Men's Nations League, defeating Slovenia 3:1 in the third-place match.

After losing the first set, the Brazilians quickly regrouped and showed great determination, winning the next three sets. Blocking (11:7) and serving (5:2) played a key role – in these areas Bernardo Rezende's team clearly outperformed their opponent.

The top scorer of the match was Slovenian Rok Možič with 21 points. For Brazil, Alan was the best performer with 18 points and a 52% attack efficiency.

This is only Brazil's second medal in Nations League history: in 2021, the team became champion. In this year’s tournament, Brazil was the best in the group stage, defeated China in the quarterfinals (3:1),but lost to Poland in the semifinals (0:3). The team earned $300,000 in prize money for their performance in the “Final Eight.”

Slovenia finished fourth again – for the third time in tournament history (after 2021 and 2024). On all occasions, Slovenia lost the bronze medal matches: to France (0:3),Poland (0:3),and now Brazil. This year, the team entered the playoffs as the sixth seed, defeated France in the quarterfinals (3:1),but lost to Italy in the semifinals (1:3). Slovenia earned $180,000 in prize money.

The final of the 2025 Nations League between Poland and Italy will take place on Sunday, August 3, at 14:00 Kyiv time.
