All participants of the 2025 Volleyball Nations League "Final Eight" determined

On July 20, the group stage of the Nations League concluded with matches in Gdańsk (Poland)Ljubljana (Slovenia), and Chiba (Japan), and the participants of the "Final Eight" were confirmed.

The Brazilians won all four matches during the third competition week and retained first place in the standings. Bernardo Rezende's team won 11 out of 12 matches overall, losing only to Cuba (2:3).

Thanks in part to this victory, the Cubans qualified for the "Final Eight" of the Nations League for the first time in their history.

Italy also achieved four wins this week, which allowed the team to overtake Poland and move into second place.

France, Japan, Poland, Slovenia, and China (as the host of the "Final Eight") will also continue their battle for medals and prize money. The final stage will take place in Ningbo from July 30 to August 3. Vital Heynen's Chinese team will play in the finals despite finishing 17th in the group stage.

The last ticket to the "Final Eight" was secured by Slovenia, who defeated Serbia in a tie-break on home soil and pushed Iran out of the playoff zone.
