The Men’s European Volleyball Championship 2026 will take place from September 9 to 27 in four countries – Italy, Finland, Bulgaria, and Romania.

A total of 24 teams will compete in the final tournament, and now the full lineup is complete.
Automatically qualified
The following had the right to play at Euro 2026 without qualification:
Host countries: Bulgaria, Finland, Italy, Romania
The top eight teams of Euro 2023: Poland, Slovenia, France, Netherlands, Serbia, Ukraine, Germany, Portugal
Winners of the qualification groups
Seven more spots were decided in the qualification tournament. They were claimed by the group winners:
Group A – Denmark
Group B – Belgium
Group C – Czechia
Group D – Estonia
Group E – Switzerland
Group F – Greece
Group G – Slovakia

The last five tickets went to the teams that finished second in their groups and had the best records:
Latvia – 3 wins / 9 points (Group G)
Turkey – 3 wins / 8 points (Group A)
Israel – 3 wins / 7 points (Group D)
Sweden – 2 wins / 8 points (Group E)
North Macedonia – 2 wins / 6 points (Group F),which edged out Austria thanks to a better points ratio in sets (1.14 vs. 1.05, with an equal overall set ratio of 1.17).
Thus, the full lineup of the 2026 European Championship is now known. The next step will be the group stage draw in October 2025, which will determine the starting matchups of the continental tournament.
