Structure of the Volleyball Department - Gods of the Volley e. V.
Our project has existed for over 1.5 years. The official association Gods of the Volley e. V. was founded in June 2025.
Our volleyball department is aimed at a broad age group: We currently train with girls and boys from 12 years of age, as well as adults up to approximately 50 years of age.
Our training sessions take place in four sports halls in the Moabit district, which we are permitted to use through a partnership with the BC Lions Moabit club.
Our concept is centered around a popular approach to volleyball: First, we offer a general Volleyball training for anyone interested, regardless of age or previous experience. Based on the participants' commitment and progress, we then form teams, which we then register in the recreational league, for example, in order to better assess their development potential.
Our goals are:
- to promote the volleyball development of all members
- to enable talented players to progress to competitive levels
- and, in the long term, to build additional teams at different age and skill levels.
We also want to inspire new members for our sport through our offerings and actively shape the volleyball community in Berlin.
