Ukraine’s men’s national team receives its schedule and potential opponents for the 2026 Nations League

Ukraine’s men’s national volleyball team will compete in the Nations League for the second consecutive year – the most prestigious commercial tournament for national teams, which will run from June 10 to August 2 in 2026.
After making their debut last season, when the “blue and yellows” finished ninth and narrowly missed out on reaching the playoffs, the team has another opportunity to test itself against the world’s volleyball elite.
The group stage for Ukraine will consist of three tournament weeks in different countries. The national team will play four matches each week. The first matches for Raul Lozano’s team will begin on June 10 in Linyi, China. Ukraine’s potential opponents include the national teams of Cuba, Japan, Poland and Slovenia, as well as the hosts, China.
The second week of matches will take place from June 24 to 28 in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. There, Ukraine could face some of the strongest teams in the world – Brazil and Italy – as well as the national teams of Bulgaria, Canada and Slovenia.
The “blue and yellows” will play the final stage of the group phase from July 15 to 19 in Serbia. Their potential opponents there include the national teams of Serbia, Germany, Iran, Turkey and Slovenia once again.
Ukraine’s women’s national volleyball team has also learned its potential opponents ahead of its debut in the Nations League.
